Family Eye Care accepts many vision discount plans as well as medical insurance plans.

Your vision discount plan (VSP, Eyemed, etc.) is used for routine eye exams and provides discounts on glasses and contact lenses.

Your medical insurance (Medicare, BCBS) is billed if you have a medical eye complaint or condition. This includes conditions such as dry eye syndrome, allergic conjunctivitis, viral conjunctivitis (pink eye), cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Your medical insurance will also be billed if you have a medical condition that affects the health of the eyes (diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, etc.), as this will result in a medical eye health evaluation.
